Build PR is delighted to announce its engagement by Hamerville Media Group for the upcoming Toolfair, Pro Builder Live and Elex Show, scheduled to take place on September 27th and 28th in Exeter.
Build PR will focus on local press coverage in the Exeter and South West of England area and will be putting the spotlight on the show's vital theme – supporting the mental health of tradespeople. Professional Builder magazine recently reported that in the UK, men are three times more likely to die by suicide than women. And in construction – a male dominated industry – men are three times more likely again to take their own lives. According to the Chartered Institute of Building (CIOB), two people working in the UK construction industry die by suicide every day, over 700 people a year.
Toolfair, Pro Builder Live and Elex Show are known as one of the premier events for the trades, bringing together leading brands, innovative products and industry experts under one roof. This year, the event’s focus extends beyond tools and equipment, with an emphasis on addressing mental health issues.
“We are delighted to be working on this important project,” says Richard Pagett, Build PR’s Managing Director. “The show's organisers, Hamerville Media Group, are taking proactive steps to ensure that the crucial message that support is available and accessible reaches both the trade community and the wider public. The event will have several charities and mental health support groups at the show ready to support anybody who needs to talk about the issues they face.”
